Winter Warmer Postponed -
We’re sorry to tell you that we have had to postpone the Winter Warmer until late January. Many thanks to all who have already offered casseroles or crumbles, and hope that you might be able to do the same when we know the new date!
However I’m sure that will give us all something to look forward to in the long, dark days after Christmas! We’ll let you know the new date soon. Social Justice Team
Benevolent Fund -
It is traditional to take a retiring collection for the Benevolent Fund at a Communion Service. Whilst the box is put out at each such service the donations are relatively small. With the approach of Christmas a number of cases have been identified that would benefit from the support of the Fund – either in cash or appropriate goods. Any donations leading up to Christmas either at the Communion Services or at any other time will be gratefully received. Richard Lowe
Burley-Téréli Friendship Trust 2026 Calendar-
Once again our annual fund raising Calendar is on sale. It has information and updates about recent projects together with photographs taken in Burley and Téréli. Calendars cost £6.00 - Available from Mary Wood
Methodist Prayer Handbook -
It’s the time of year again when we order new copies of the Methodist Prayer Handbook. It’s a useful resource, packed with prayers, readings and meditations to see you through the year, and this year we’re promised a new look and style. The cost is £4.50 plus postage, and if you would like to order a copy, please have a word with Richard Lowe
Slice Of Life -
CONGRATULATIONS to the Slice of Life team, who have just achieved a Level 5 in food hygiene after an inspection!

RightNow Media-
The church has taken a subscription to a fantastic resource to support both personal and group Bible reflection and study. Access is free to all members by following this link: https://app.rightnowmedia.org/join/bwmethodist
There is a support section at the foot of the Home page which has answers to lots of FAQ's but if you have any other queries/questions please contact Phil and Wendy Kershaw who will be happy to help you.
Little Ducklings -
We could do with a few more helpers for this community service on a Friday morning 9-11. The parents who attend are most appreciative of his group. If you could spare a couple of hours once a month or so, please have a word with Adrian or Pam to find out more. Thanks.

WELCOMING YOU HOME
The Methodist Church has a system of care for both its members and those who join us for worship, weekday groups and meetings. As a Church community, we believe that our care for one another is one of the main expressions of our faith and love for God and for others.
